Push Press
3X3 Every 3:00 for 3 sets 3 Push press
INTENDED STIMULUS
*Heavy, hip-mediated, upper body pressing strength training with relatively low overall volume. The first set should be challenging but allow for a gradual build up to a near 3-rep max on the third set. This section is also intended to help prep for part 2 which is the main focus of the day.
WOD
For time 150 Double unders 75 Pull-ups *Every minute on the minute including 0:00 do 5 Push press (135lbs/95lbs) Time cap is 10:00
INTENDED STIMULUS
*This workout is largely focused on upper body stamina. The load on the push press should allow for 5 reps to be completed unbroken on every set. Athletes should be on the pull-up no later than the 5th minute.
